More and more novels..

Have you ever come across Jodi Picoult's novels? If yes, do you love her novels? If you ask me what is it like to love her novels, I would say that every piece of her novels is thought-provoking and have several shocking twists to the plot that make the story even more riveting. What I love most about her books is that it underscore areas of moral ambiguity and usually deal with controversial issues.

Jodi Picoult is the bestselling author of 15 novels. She wrote her first novel, "Songs of the Humpback Whale" when she was pregnant with her first child.

The first novel of Jodi's that I read was "Change of Heart" and since then, I've been hooked. It is so full of suspense that it was a page turner. She just know how to write emotionally gripping books that makes the readers want more and more of it.

Change of Heart

June Nealon was looking forward to years full of laughter and adventure with her family, but now she is staring into a future as empty as her heart - waiting for time to heal her wounds, for justice, for a miracle.

Shay Bourne's l
ife holds no suprises, until he gets one last chance for salvation that lies with June's young daughter, Claire. But between Shay and Claire are bitter regrets and the rage of a mother who has lost her child.

Father Michael devoted his life to God, but Shay makes him question everything he's been taught to believe about religion, about good and evil, about forgiveness. About himself.

Some books grab you and you just can't out them down until you finish it. Well, this is one of them. It immediately grips me with it's exciting, intense plot and YOU JUST CAN"T PUT IT DOWN!

Ever since then, I took myself to the Borders and bought two more of Jodi's novels which is "Keeping Faith" & "The Tenth Circle". I'm half way through Keeping Faith, yet the other one, still nicely lying on my table waiting for me to lay my hands on it and without a split second, I bet it would be another Can't-Put-'Em-Down Classics.

Let me walk you through an entry to a short synopsis of:

Keeping Faith

When Mariah White catches her husband with another woman, her life starts to fall apart. And when her daughter, Faith, begins to confide in an imaginary friend, her own brush with insanity starts to take on a darker meaning.

Then Faith appears to start performing miracles, and all at once the situation is spiralling beyond Mariah's control. Is Faith truly seeing God? Or is she just a troubled little girl seeking refuge from her parents' divorce?
When it comes to matters of faith, it's hard to know who to believe..
.

The Tenth Circle

Trixie Stone is fourteen years old and in love for the first time. She's also the light of her father's life - a straight-A student; a freshman in high school who is pretty and popular, a girl who's always looked up to Daniel Stone as a hero. Until, that is, her world is turned upside down with a single act of violence..and suddenly everything Trixie has believed about her family- and herself - seems to be a lie.

But there is this one novel which I am anxiously LOVE to indulge in is "My Sister's Keeper". For those who might not know, My Sister's Keeper is about to be a feature film starring Cameron Diaz, Abigail Breslin and Alec Baldwin. The movie is to be released in somewhere June or July 2009. As for me, I recommend reading the book before you see the movie because most of the time the book is BETTER!! ( Hmmm.. I can't wait to take myself to the Borders, scan through the shelf and happily take this book home with me!! )

My Sister's Keeper

Anna is not sick, but she might as well be. By age thirteen, she has undergone countless surgeries, transfusions, and shots so that her older sister, Kate, can somehow fight the leukemia that has plagued her since childhood.

The product of preimplantation genetic diagnosis, Anna was conceived as a bone marrow match for Kate - a life and a role that she has never questioned… until now. Like most teenagers, Anna is beginning to question who she truly is. But unlike most teenagers, she has always been defined in terms of her sister - and so Anna makes a decision that for most would be unthinkable… a decision that will tear her family apart and have perhaps fatal consequences for the sister she loves.

If you haven't already read any of Jodi's novels, what are you waiting for?? Grab one of her novels at the nearest bookstore and get lost in it.

Don't be surprised if you pick up a Jodi's book that keep you up way too late at night reading
because all you will care about is what happens next. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT DOWN!!
