Another year...another pound!!
Everyone looks forward to birthdays, be it your own or loved one's. Last Saturday was my baby's 25th birthday. Well, we do jazz up some celebration for him..but it wasn't those birthday party celebration as what people would usually do on their birthday.
We celebrated his birthday at Autocity Tao Cuisine. Or should we said, we have planned it beforehand in terms of where would be the suitable places with nice, comfy atmosphere that is perfect for a birthday dinner. And since me and my hubby has never try a japanese buffet, so we guess this would be the right time! Oh yes, we are sushi lovers!!!
So...off we went with Kevin and Sharon. My baby choose the 5.30 pm session. We are merriment over the unlimited succulent sushi rolls, sashimi, salmon and etc. I can hardly breath when we're just halfway through the buffet..and there is more to come...and I would say, NON-STOP. We ordered quite a lot actually..hehe
Of course, we manage to snap some photos along the way but not the food. *Pardon me..Get too carried away with the food that came non-stop..haha*
The snapshots:
Left: Silly us, Right: Candid
Birthdays are never complete without presents and cakes. Unfortunately, there would be no birthday cake, just a birthday gift as he's not quite a fan of cakes. I guess you guys must be wondering what I would give to my dear hubby as a birthday gift.
I would say...nothing special. Bet you'll agree to this when you see the pictures below :

First Love
I couldn't agree more to this when I read about "First Love" written by Dave McCasland in Our Daily Journey With God (ODJ).
There, he wrote:
God's first love - a pure, unconditional, and unlimited love. (1 John 4:19)
In contrast to God's love - "the love that often leaves us doubtful, frustrated, angry and resentful is the second love, that is to say, the affirmation, affection, sympathy, encouragement, and support that we receive from our parents, teachers, spouses and friends."
When we look for our worth and identity in human love, as wonderful as it can be, we're headed for disappointment.
Nouwen concludes: "The radical good news is that the second love is only a broken reflection of the first love, and that the first love is offered to us by a God whom there are no shadows. Jesus' heart is the incarnation of the shadow-free first love of God."
We love because He first loved us.
In God's "first love" we are secure. We're free to love and serve others.
Totally agree!! Don't you??
We have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent His Son to be the Savior of the world. All who confess that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. (1 John 4:14-15)
