Food Craving

Many people suffer from food craving occasionally. Food craving come on suddenly and are tough to resist. Right now, I'm craving mostly for Ice Kacang and Chendol at New World Park Food Court located at Swatow Lane!! It is just perfect for a hot afternoon nowadays. I guess I shall go there this weekend to outwit my food craving. *Big smile*

Recently, I have tasted Penang Road's Cendol at Sunshine Farlim when my mummy and I went to stock up our groceries there. I never knew such stall (in a shoplot) existed until my mum told me about it. Honestly, I have never tried Penang Road's Cendol before, but after trying it for the first time, I personally think that the succulent taste will drown you as well.

So, if you are somewhere near Farlim area searching for something cold to quench your thirst in a sunny hot afternoon or if you happen to shop in Sunshine Farlim, drop by at the shoplot (it's near the entrance) where the stall is located to taste the mouth-watering Cendol.

Musical Masterpiece

Hillsong

Have you heard of Hillsong? If you are not probably a Christian, you might not have heard of them before. (But that's not always the case as some non-christian do heard of this band)

I have been a Hillsong's fan since I listen to their songs some years ago. As always, Hillsong has a freshness to their songs that goes the distance. Their songs are upbeat and genuinely heartfelt, it's refreshing and uplifting as well.

If you ask me to pick a favorite song on all their albums, I would be hard pressed to pick one as I have heaps of favorite songs of theirs. Why so?? One word... AMAZINGNESS, that's what!! They are all amazing, inspiring and anointed, but some of the ones that stuck me the most were, "At The Cross, Worthy is the Lamb, Shout to the Lord, Mighty to Save, Here I am to Worship, Oceans Will Part, One Way Jesus, Emmanuel, One Desire, Jesus Lover of My Soul, The Power of Your Love, Through It All".

And recently, I listened to this album, "This is Our God"....I was especially drawn to "This is Our God". An amazing song that keep drawing me closer to God, beyond words where I was touched immensely by its powerful lyrics and it is just so moving. This is a song that I could play on repeat for hours on end. Definitely give it a listen for as the moment you listen, it will struck you right into your heart.

When you look in the mirror..

So... did you take a good look at yourself in the mirror?? What do you see?? How do you see yourself??

Yesterday, I came across a blog about taking a good long hard look in the mirror and where she asked the Lord, "What do You see Lord? What do You see here that was worth keeping? What good can I be to You now?".

After reading it, I began to think and imagined how exactly the Lord sees me when He looks at me because when I look myself in the mirror, all I can see is the FLESH!!

And it struck me immediately that my Father was showing me that I should always look toward Jesus for the reflection of how I should see myself for it is only when I look at Jesus I can see the imperfections in me..where I come short of His Glory and Righteousness.

So, I prayed to Lord, "Father, You see everything about me and know everything there is to know about me. Show me how You see me through Your eyes and help me to see myself as You do so I may know Your perfect love in me and I can perfectly love others too."

As I read through "Our Daily Journey", I couldn't agree more to this when these sentences catches my attention...

"The knowledge of ourselves is only possible through our knowledge of God. He is the standard by which we can come to know who we really are. He's the only one with a STRAIGHT MIRROR."

What movies is a must for your "Watch-List" this year? Some people don't plan their viewing habits that far in advance but some do. Well, I can say that I belong to the second category.

These few movies are my selected ones that piqued my interest and have been on the top of my "Must-Watch-List" as we enter into 2009.

I always love Scrat, the squirrel who is constantly hunting for his acorn to survive. But to either bury the acorn or eat it, fate always seems to get in the way. I love watching him throughout the series as he always ends up in humorous and often painful situations having to fight for his acorn. Many view him as a Breakout Character and I couldn't agree more!

4) Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Released date : 16th July 2009

5) Twilight Saga : New Moon

Released date : 26th November 2009

6) 2012


It should be released in July but has been pushed to November.

My current goal : Watch all of the movies on my "must-watch-list" in cinema!! *BIG BIG SMILE*

Home sweet home!!

The trademark of Penang

Finally!! After a long 4-hours drive, we're home!! *big smile*

Yesterday, me and my baby were busy packing our stuffs to get ready to get our butt back to where we belong... PENANG!! We were totally exhausted from all the carrying, pushing and dragging heavy stuffs from our room to the lift to the car... imagine that!! And we really don't expect we have this much stuff... until we packed!! But, fortunately, all those stuffs...fits well in our little Kancil. Pheww!!

Until now... DEAD TIRED is the only words that can describe how I am feeling this moment. So, right now... I actually heard my comfy bed paging for me. I guess I shall call it a day!! Bonne nuit monde!!
